·        Conventional Liquid Treatments have been a reliable method of treatment over the past two decades. By applying a liquid termiticide under and around the structure's foundation, subterranean termites are exposed by ingestion, contact, and the "Transfer Effect," meaning affected insects help spread the termiticde throughout the colony before dying themselves. Coupled with the newer foam and borate technologies, conventional treatments can provide years of protection against subterranean termite infestations.

·        Termite Baiting Systems A termite baiting system offers an alternative to the conventional liquid treatment. This treatment involves positioning baiting stations (also known as monitoring stations) in the soil around a structure's exterior perimeter. Once the stations are installed they are monitored on a monthly or quarterly basis (depending upon whether the treatment is curative or preventive) by MBA service representatives.

Emphasis is placed on education, inspection, pest identification, sanitation, communication and cooperation of the customer. The focus of the program is Preventive Maintenance which is achieved by identifying and eliminating conditions which are conductive to supporting pest populations.

·        Our goal is to control pests without adversely affecting the customer's environment while simultaneously using the least toxic, most effective materials, and limiting the total volume of materials in order to reduce the potential hazard of chemical exposure to the customer and the environment. This goal is best achieved through Quarterly Inspections and Monitoring which enables the early detection of pest activity while populations are at low levels. Once discovered, these small pest populations may be eliminated with fewer materials than those used in traditional treatment programs.
